NEWS
Continued Success
by Santa Ana Police!

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy accused of burglarizing homes in Santa Ana and Garden Grove. Detectives conducting surveillance arrested the boy on Wednesday when he walked out of his Santa Ana home. The teen, whom police did not identify because he is a minor, confessed to burglarizing the home where the fingerprint was found and then showed detectives 13 homes he burglarized in Santa Ana and 3 in Garden Grove.

The rash of residential burglaries in the northeast part of the city began in March. The burglaries occurred in the morning and early afternoon while residents were at work. The boy targeted homes with unlocked windows and doors in the Floral Park, West Floral Park and Santiago Park communities.

We owe our gratitude to Santa Ana Police Department's continuing effective, outstanding , not to mention highly efficient, enforcement.
Loud Music, Noise
Ordinance

In an ongoing effort to maintain quality of life and protect the rights of residents, the City of Santa Ana has a loud and raucous noise ordinance. It is unlawful for any person to cause, allow the emission or transmission of any loud or raucous noise from sound making or sound amplifying device under their control. The ordinance is in force at all times of the day and night, at any public or private location. Violation of this ordinance can result in a fine of up to $1,000 and, or, up to six months of jail time.

Zero
Tolerance Zone!

Park Santiago neighbors like to enjoy our community, with children out playing, taking strolls with families, etc. Park Santiago will not tolerate speeding and running stop signs. If you are chronically late, leave a few minutes earlier . . . only a few minutes.

This is a friendly reminder but remember, residents will not tolerate feeling unsafe on their streets.

Credit Alert Reminder!

Remember that credit and debit card information can be fraudulently used to access ATM machines.
Suggestion: if required to use your card at the counter inside a gas station, use cash instead or simply go to another gas station where the outside pump ATMs work. Contact your financial institution immediately regarding suspicious activity on your cards.

An Entrepreneur's
Dream Comes True!

About seven years ago Bozeman, Montana Engineer Steve Titus  got tired of driving to the gas pumps, paying increasingly higher prices and our dependency on imported oil. So Steve decided to do something about it by using his 25 years of experience working with alternative-power products.

Using his savings from his retirement account, and working solely out of his Bozeman home garage, he develop
ed a two-seater solar powered All Terrain Vehicle called the "Solar Bug". Solar Bug's most recent version can attain speeds up to 40 mph, with a range of up to 60 miles, depending on conditions. The model currently being marketed can:
Attain speeds of 25 mph (limitation set
by Government for this type of vehicle)
  "Finger Tip" control Lighting
30 plus miles from fully charged battery
  Roll Bar with safety belts
  Regenerative Braking
Solar Panels (inconspicuously incorporated into design)

Recently, Steve's company was acquired by W2 Energy who has already begun signing dealers for the vehicles.
