Thank You To The Publishers!

I wanted to thank Jim and Connie Gonzalez for writing the newsletter. I know that it's a big job, requiring many unpaid hours!!! I was just thinking--I wonder if you would consider writing little articles (or including ones that other neighbors have written) about the history of the houses, and/or what's going on in peoples' yards, the park, or anything that people would be interested in. Some of the long-time residents probably have some great stories to tell! For a short time I wrote a tiny column in the newsletter answering questions (like Dear Abby sort of). Something like that might be nice. You are dong a great job. Keep it up.

Lincoln & Fairhaven Closure

Lincoln and Fairhaven closure? Why? I feel whoever was responsible for installing it should fix it! I realize it's probably too late but it sure isn't right!

Cable, Internet Outages?

Over that last two years, since about the time of Time Warner Cable's acquisition of Adelphia, we have been experiencing poor Cable Television signals (dropped signals, "bit-maps," etc) and excessive dropped Internet signals (lost connections, service interruptions).

With reference to Time Warner/Roadrunner Internet, our issues (as well as that of those in other areas and cities throughout Orange County apparently) have ranged from speeds well below (as low as 1-3 Mbps for extended periods of time) the advertised Time Warner Cable Internet speeds to outright Internet outages (dropped connections/signals), with as many as 11 dropped internet connections in one morning (and even more than that, throughout the day), most requiring a complete reset of the cable modem and routers!

Has anyone else, with Time Warner Cable Roadrunner Internet service, experienced similar issues (very slow internet speeds, etc)? We would like to hear your opinion.
